Recently,the two major research projects of the 13th Five-Year Plan of the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Key Research Base undertaken by the APEC Study Center, Research on the New Trends of Economic Integration in the Asia-Pacific Region and China's Strategic Choices and APEC Issues Decision Consulting Research have been completed for all research work, the final materials were submitted. These two topics were hosted by the directors of the center, professor Liu Chenyang and professor Meng Xia, and they were formally established in June 2016 and July 2017. During the research period, both research groups published many high-quality papers, submitted dozens of consulting research reports to relevant government departments, and obtained many acceptance letters. So far, the four major base projects established during the 13th Five-Year Plan period of APEC Study Center have all completed the established research goals, and the final materials have been officially submitted.
