On September 20, 2019, the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Key Research Base Management Conference was held at Wuhan University. Professor Liu Chenyang, the director of the center, was invited to attend the meeting.
The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, especially General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the work of philosophy and social sciences, to establish the four consciousnesses, strengthen the four confidences, and achieve two safeguards .It is important to promote the base to strengthen political construction, deepen reform and coordination, improve the quality of research, and strive to compose a stroke pen for accelerating the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics.
