On September 3, 2019, the China Institute of International Studies held the Yala Forum Cooperation Seminar in Beijing. Professor Liu Chenyang, the director of the center, was invited to attend the meeting and gave a keynote speech.
It is the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the East Asia-Latin America Cooperation Forum, and Asia-Latin America cooperation is deepening. This seminar conducted in-depth discussions on issues such as the current situation of cooperation between East Asia and Latin America in the new era, the thinking and measures to deepen Yala cooperation, and China's strategy to promote Yala cooperation.
