On August 23-30, 2019, the fourth meeting of the APEC Vision Group (AVG) was held in Puerto Varas, Chile. Professor Liu Chenyang, director of the APEC Research Center, attended the meeting as the Chinese representative of the vision group.This meeting is one of the series of meetings of the third APEC Senior Officials' Meeting in 2019. The members of the expert group discussed, revised and improved the text of the AVG report in detail, and finally reached a consensus. As an important document, the report is scheduled to be submitted to the APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting and leaders in November 2019.
