On September 12-13, 2018, the 2018 Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Society of China and the Asia-Pacific Pattern Changes and China’s Peripheral Relations academic seminar was held in Beijing. There were more than 100 people from dozens of universities and related institutions in the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. More than one hundred experts and scholars attended the meeting. This annual meeting was hosted by the China Asia Pacific Society and undertaken by the China Foreign Affairs University. The meeting conducted exchanges and discussions on the changes in the political and economic structure of the Asia-Pacific region, the relationship between China and neighboring countries, and regional hot spots. Professor Liu Chenyang, the director of the center, attended the annual meeting and was invited to give a keynote speech entitled APEC Cooperation Process in the Post-Bogor Era at the plenary meeting.
