As one of the series of meetings of the third APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting in 2018, the second meeting of the APEC Vision Group (AVG) was held on August 16-17 in Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea. Professor Liu Chenyang, Director of the APEC Research Center participated in the meeting as the Chinese representative of the Vision Group.
The core agenda of this meeting is to conduct detailed and in-depth discussions on the main objectives, timetable and key areas of APEC's Post-2020 vision, so as to lay the foundation for determining the content framework of the AVG report.
