On November 20, 2017, a report meeting on the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress of the Central Propaganda Group was held at Nankai University. Gao Hucheng, a member of the Central Propaganda Group and deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, gave a lecture. This was also the first lecture of the Central Propaganda Group in Tianjin universities.
After the report, Gao Hucheng came to the Collaborative Innovation Center for Socialist Economic Construction with Chinese Characteristics in Nankai University to exchange face-to-face exchanges with teachers and students about learning the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress. As one of the teacher representatives, Liu Chenyang, director of the APEC Research Center, participated in the symposium and exchanged views with Deputy Director Gao Hucheng on how China should promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and an open world economy. After the symposium, Director Liu Chenyang accepted an interview with relevant media and talked about his experience in learning the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress.
