On the afternoon of October 12th, Nankai Political and Economic Forum, Nankai Economic History Forum and Bi-weekly Symposium of Economic Research Institute of Nankai University were held in the conference room on the 8th floor of the high-rise of the School of Economics. Dr Janine Maegraith from Newnham College of Cambridge University gave a keynote speech on "Wealth Distribution and Unfair in the South of Tyrol in Early Modern Times: Relatives' Rights and Market Access". The seminar was chaired by Professor Wang Yuru, director and the scholar of Nankai University Economic History Research Center. Many teachers from the Center and dozens of students from the school participated in the discussion.
