In order to strengthen Xi Jinping's research on the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, adhere to and improve the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, and promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, the research is based on the major project of the National Social Science Fund, "Emergency System of External Financial Shock under Deep Opening", which explains the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee. Two seminars with the theme of "Strength Foundation of International Monetary System" and "Domestic and Foreign Channels for Anti-Money Laundering and RMB Underlying Payment System", sponsored by School of Economics of Nankai University, Center for Studies of Political Economy of Nankai University and Research Center of Virtual Economy and Management, were held at School of Economics of Nankai University on August 10 and August 21, 2020, respectively. More than 60 experts, scholars, teachers and students from Renmin University of China, Wuhan University, Nankai University, People's Bank of China and other universities, research institutions and financial institutions, including Professor Zhao Yanyun from School of Statistics of Renmin University of China, Dr. Mo Shikang, Chairman of China Minsheng Holding Co., Ltd., Director Gong Jingyan from Anti-Money Laundering Department of People's Bank of China, Dr. Lai Shicheng, Senior Manager of Compliance Management Department of Dubai Branch of Agricultural Bank of China, and Professor Liu Junmin from Virtual Economy and Management Research Center of Nankai University, attended the seminar. The guests expressed wonderful views on building a sound security system for opening to the outside world and providing theoretical and academic support for promoting the building of national system and governance capacity.
