Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Organic Materials, Pesticide Chemistry
1)Numerous heterocyclic compounds, including polysubstituted furans, pyrroles and pyridines, were constructed from the building blocks, 1-phenyl-3- propargyloxy propenone-1, N-propargylic b-enaminones, in the presence of strong bases. In addition, multi-substituted dihydrofuropyridine and dihydropyrrolopyridine derivatives from KOH-catalyzed reactions between N-propargylic b-enaminones and arylaldehydes or N-sulfonyl imines have been developed.
2)Synthesis of novel azaacenes and their phototransistor behaviors. Benzo[1,2-g:4,5-g']diquinoxalines were prepared and their phototransistor behaviors were measured.
3)Some pharmacophores were introduced in the heterocyclic scaffold in our group to generate novel compounds, which were screened in biological tests.
