The “Spring rain”—family education Volunteer activity, started in 2007, is intended to help the students in poor family who have trouble in learning. This activity is embracing NKU’s motto, devoting ourselves to contributing the society we own.

    After years of development, the spring rain volunteer activity has formed a complete system that the volunteers are divided into different groups; each group has certain arrangements and certain teaching time. In the 2014-2015 years’ election, the “spring rain” family education Volunteer activity was awarded the excellent activity in Communist Youth League of NANKAI University, and the excellence volunteer activities of Chemical Institute.

    Last year, with the tutor's meticulous preparation and students’ efforts, each student made certain improvement, and some of the students' grades had been greatly improved. Therefore, the students’ parents thought highly of this activity and expressed their gratitude.

    The “Spring rain” family education Volunteer activity is a good chance for us students to improve our ability, and all the volunteers gain happiness. This year, more and more volunteers join in the activity, we believe that with everyone’s effort, the activity will become better and better!
