Academic Part-time Positions and Honors

He became the Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2005 and foreign member of the German National Academy of Sciences. He also has published more than 230 SCI papers as correspondent on Cell, Nature, Science, Nature Immunology, Cancer Cell and so on, which has been cited by others for more than 6000 times. In addition, he was the Secretary General of the Federation of Immunological Societies of Asia-Oceania (as President in 2012-2015), founder and chief editor of Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy, Co-Editor-in-Chief of Cellular and Molecular Immunology, vice chief editor of Journal of Molecular Medicine, Gene Therapy and Cancer Immunology Research, editorial board member of Cell, Annual Review of Immunology, Science Translational Medicine, Science Advances, eLife, Cell Research. As for awards, he has obtained National Natural Science Award in 2003 (2nd prize) as first man who finished once, Chinese Medical Sciences and Technology Award twice (1st prize), Military Science and Technology Progress Award and Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (1st prize), Shanghai Natural Science Award 4 times, 16 patents of national invention, 2 National Class II New Drug Certificates, Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Prize of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Achievement Award of the first Shulan Medicine Award, China’s Outstanding Young Scientists Award, etc. 12 doctors he mentored has won the National Excellent Doctoral Thesis. Therefore , he also won the first China Postgraduate Education Special Award in 2014 and Nature's Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Teachers in 2015.
