To promote the learning of Xi Jinping’s important statements about the construction of family customs and the education of Two Studies, One Action, the graduate students’ party branch of Institute of Finance and Development recently organized the party members to visit Tianjin Museum and watch the exhibition of Family customs carry forward China.

Before the visit, the leader of our institute and Wang Wei, the Party branch secretary of graduate students delivered the relevant spirit, and required the visitors to deeply study Xi Jinping’s important statements about the construction of family customs, to practice the socialist core values, and to carry forward and inherit the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. The exhibition, with the cur point of family customs, reviewed the excellent Chinese family culture thoroughly, and showed the spirit of the ancient people of virtue who cultivated their moral character and put their family affairs in order, the sublime manners of revolutionary who delivered their ideas through speech and their own behavior, the realm of life of historic celebrities who insisted in and inherit their ideal, and the principles of life of the common people who delivered their own good behaviors from generation to generation.

During the visit, the members of the party branch watched three parts of theme exhibition successively——family customs and national customs, family customs and party customs as well as family customs and folk custom, and learned about a series of historic celebrities and the stories of revolutionary martyrs, which included Zhang Boling, the originator of Nankai University. The members of the party branch were deeply moved by Zhang Boling’s great contribution to the educational business and his rigorous family customs. After the visit, the members of the party branch expressed their understanding and opinions in sequence about the theme of family customs, and exchanged their ideas with each other.

Through the visit, the members of the party branch of Institute of Finance and Development had a better understanding about the construction of family customs and traditional Chinese culture. They realized that, as a member of Chinese Communist Party, they should take a lead role in practicing the socialist core values, understanding the morality, observing the social ethics, and being strict with themselves. They should also do good deeds, being honest and self-discipline, cultivating good family customs, purifying the working environment, the living environment and the circle of friends with kindness and clearness, improving the spiritual pursuit and behavior with the good customs of Chinese Communist Party and traditional Chinese virtue. The members of the party branch expressed their willingness to consciously further learn the spirit of Two Studies, One Action, to restrain their own behavior with more strict principle, to improve the mental level and to play a leading role in daily life.
