Introduction
Hu Jianguo is the professor of Nankai University Law School and a visiting scholar of Georgetown University Law Center. He is the Deputy Secretary General of Tianjin Law Society International Economic Law Branch. He is a director of Chinese Society of International Law, a director of China Society of International Economic Law, a director of World Trade Organization Law Research Society of China Law Society and a director of the European Law Research Society of the Chinese European Society. He is also a legal advisor of Tianjin government. He is an expert of the Tianjin Government Rule of Law Think Tank.
Professor Hu has one monograph, A Study on the Enforcement Mechanism of WTO Dispute Settlement. He is an associate editor of WTO Law and China Series (2012 Volume). He took part in the editing of several text books including International Economic Law, Understanding on World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement Rules and Procedures and Selected Classic Cases from the World Trade Organization. He has published dozens papers in journals including Law Review, European Studies and Legal Business Research.
Professor Hu presided over A Study on the Domestic Enforcement of WTO Rulings, which is a National Social Science Foundation Youth Project. He was also in charge of A Study on the Enforcement of WTO Dispute Settlement Decisions funded by the Ministry of Education, Trade Promotion Policy Compliance Research Groundwork entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce.
