The Measures for the Implementation of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Red Cross Society in Tianjin were revised and adopted at The 27th Meeting of the 17th Standing Committee of Tianjin Municipal People's Congresson May 26, 2021, and it will take effect on July 15, 2021.
The revised Local ordinance aims to protect and regulate the activities of the Red Cross, such as humanitarian relief, and promote the development of the Red Cross through the rule of law.
Commissioned by the Tianjin Red Cross, several professors and students from NanKai University has set up a task group including Associate Professor Li Ruiyi, Professor Song Hualin and PhDstudent Liu Yingke, Master students Zhao Cong, Lv Zhengyi, Li Yumeng, Zhang Tianyu, Huang Weijia.
Since 2018, they carried out a number of research, demonstration for the amendment of the draft and the measures for the implementation of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Red Cross Society in Tianjin.
This method consolidates the successful experience of fighting the epidemic into institutional norms, responds to the needs of social practice and public concerns, and marks significant progress in the legislation of the Red Cross Society in Tianjin. In recent years, the scholars of Nankai University School of Law have actively participated in the national and local legislation, contributing our own strength to the construction of law.
