BRIEF INTRODUCTION:

College of Pharmacy has two undergraduate specialties, Pharmacy and Medicinal Chemistry. In 2017, the discipline of Pharmacy was listed among the provincial key disciplines. In 2022, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of 2021 national and provincial first-class undergraduate program construction sites. Specialty of Pharmacy, Nankai University was included on the National First-class Undergraduate Program Construction Site List. The specialty of Medicinal Chemistry was selected as Provincial First-class Undergraduate Program Constructions Site.

COURSES:

For both specialties, compulsory courses include Fundamentals of Computer, Basic Physics, Calculus, Innovative Research and Training, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry, Human Physiology, Human (Systematic) Anatomy, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Botany, Professional Practice and Graduation Thesis.

Elective courses include General Introduction to Pharmaceutical Theory, Computer-Aided Drug Design, Discovery and Development of New Drugs, Pathology and Pathophysiology, Tumor Metabolism, Pharmacy Administration, A Brief History of Drug Discovery and so on.
