Brief introduction

                       

The humanities-social science study in Nankai University has always been at the academic frontier by focusing on the national strategic needs and emphasizing both on basic theoretical and application strategy research, achieving fruitful results and receiving good reviews in the academic community.

In recently years, the number of published papers from CSSCI source periodicals and citation per paper in Nankai University has always been at the top of the list, and the number of articles in SSCI is growing year by year. In the field of humanism social science, in 2014, 139 academic works and papers (among which 79 are published internationally) were published, and 150 research studies were completed. Since 2013, Nankai University gained Outstanding Achievement Award of Humanities-social Science Study in Chinese universities for 91 research results, among which there were two first prizes, 33 second prizes and 56 third prizes. To date11 works of Nankai University were selected into the "National Library of Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievements".
