To further make better safety management of campus, enhance general awareness of safety precautions and self-protection abilities of teachers and students, in the morning of November 7, TEDA College held the launch ceremony for Safety Education Activity Month, Zhang Yuzhi, Dean of TEDA College and Dean of the College of Software, Yin Peilai, Deputy Director of Security Department of Nankai University, Wang Boyang, Deputy Dean of TEDA College, Jiang Jinhong, Deputy Dean of TEDA College, together with 200 teaching staff and students participated in the ceremony.

With the evacuation instructions issued in the morning, the student dormitory's emergency evacuation activities began. According to the predetermined plan, the students quickly arrived at the safety zone after descending from the dormitory, completing the emergency evacuation exercise successfully.

TEDA College, in conjunction with the Security Department, conducted firefighting-themed training camp activities. Firstly, the staff of the Security Department demonstrated proper usage of fire extinguishers, breathing masks, and other fire-fighting equipment while explaining the necessary safety measures for laboratories, dormitories, and other areas. This training enhanced their capacity to handle emergency situations effectively. Then, teachers and students entered the interesting inflatable fort to simulate the fire extinguishing and smoke escape process. During the process, they further grasp safety knowledge and strengthen safety skills.

Based on a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, the activity site established the safety publicity panels to propagate knowledge of fire safety, dormitory safety, fraud prevention, and other forms of information to the students. During the on-site question-and-answer session, students showed great enthusiasm, actively participated in the activities, and signed names on the signature wall. They said they will always remember the safety guidelines and work together to protect the safety of TEDA Campus. This is to fulfill their commitment of keeping everyone safety on campus.

This moth, TEDA campus will continue to carry out a series of online and offline safety education activities, including online safety knowledge contest, emergency rescue experiential training, party activities related with fire safety, psychological growth of movie appreciation, etc. Through a series of activities, TEDA campus will further enhance the safety awareness of teachers and students, to build a solid defense to protect the safety of them all.
