From November 18 to 20 (local time), Mr. Xing Jingang, Deputy Director of MBA Center, and Mr. Cui Lianguang, Director of International Certification and Quality Improvement Center, were invited to attend the AAPBS (Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools) 2018 Annual Meeting held in Sydney, Australia. The conference themed “Future Work” covers AACSB accreditation, professional services, entrepreneurship, leadership, opportunities and challenges for business schools, etc. The conference was organized by University of New South Wales.
During the conference, NKBS delegation attended the seminar hosted by Professor Tom Robinson, Chairman of AACSB, and discussed continuous improvement of re-accreditation process, teacher classification, and new standards in 2020, which helped deepen our understanding of new AACSB accreditation standards and related re-accreditation procedures, and facilitated our re-accreditation.
By virtue of this AAPBS annual meeting, we communicated and shared experience with delegates from colleges and universities at home and abroad to further strengthen our exchange and cooperation with prestigious business schools in the Asia-Pacific region and actively promote our AACSB re-accreditation.
The Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) is a regional, non-profit organization initiated by 11 management schools in the Asia Pacific region. AAPBS was founded to guide and represent business administration education in the Asia Pacific region, and promote the improvement of such education. At present, AAPBS university members from the mainland include Tsinghua University, Nankai University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, etc.
