On August 16, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) announced the review results of projects applied to NSFC in the centralized acceptance period in 2019. 12 projects applied by NKBS are approved with the direct funding of RMB4.955 million, including 9 general projects and 3 Youth Science Foundation projects. The number of approved projects increases significantly compared with last year. NKBS ranks the first among all schools of liberal arts in terms of the number of funded projects and the amount of funding.

      The leadership of the NKBS attached great importance to the application, and offered full support while actively organizing experts for pre-evaluation to provide detailed opinions and suggestions for applicants. We will earnestly summarize the experience, analyze the deficiencies, focus on the construction of first-class disciplines, make high-level academic achievements, and strive to obtain approval of more natural science projects.
