The final of HKICPA Business Case Competition 2018 was closed on November 25 in Hong Kong. With exceptional performance, NKBS Representative Team was honored the Merit Team while Luo Rui, the head of the Team, won the title of Best Presenter. This year, the participants of NUK were Luo Rui and Yue Weizheng, who were enrolled in 2016 and major in Financial Management, Hu Binwu, who was enrolled in the same year and from the specialty of International Accounting, and Deng Zaiyue who was an English major of NKU College of Foreign Languages.
Over 630 teams participated in the Competition. Through one-month intensive preparation, NKBS Representative Team members offered a premium business report and got to the final with in-depth business knowledge, outstanding thinking, and global, far-reaching vision. During the two-week preparation for the final, they exerted consistent efforts to optimize their participating work by concentrating on how to deal with the transformation and profitability of a fitness company and how to respond to the company’s public relations crisis according to the specified case. The Representative Team put forward BOS innovative business mode (i.e., partner maintenance – independent operation – profit sharing) in the rapid expansion of asset-light. When it came to the presentation and defense of the final, the judges spoke highly of their super performance.
Sponsored by Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), the Competition aims to provide a high-level exchange platform for outstanding students of business schools worldwide, and improve the integrated abilities and quality of participants. NKU Representative Team had an excellent performance in the presentation of the final. That proves Chinese business students’ strength, especially NKU students’ solid professional knowledge, broad horizon of the discipline and preeminent mixed capabilities.
