Abstract: On September 8, more than thirty 1988 alumni of the Department of Electronic Science and Technology of College of Electronic Information and Optical Engineering returned to their Alma Mater on the 30th anniversary of their entry into Nankai to recollect their years of study. Fuchun Wang, secretary of the Party Committee of the college, and Jianjun Zhang, deputy dean of the college, attended relevant activities.

Fuchun Wang extended a warm welcome to the alumni who "came home" and expressed his gratitude to the alumni who loved their Alma Mater and the college and gave their strong support and care. He introduced an overview of the development of the college in the aspects of historical evolution, current development, educational organization, discipline construction and talent training. He hoped that alumni would often come back to see their Alma Mater and continue paying attention to the development of the college as well as assisting in discipline construction.
Liqun Han, as a representative of alumni, expressed his sincere gratitude to the university and college, and affectionately expressed the relationship between alumni and their alma mater with "Once destined, never apart". She said that Nankai was changing and the college was growing. She was deeply proud of the development of the school and college over the years. The alumni have contributed to the development of the motherland at their respective posts, and have fulfilled the mission and responsibility of Nankai people. In the future, they will continue paying attention to the development of our university and strengthening the communication and cooperation with the college.
The alumni presented the college with a USB flash disk carrying 30 years of precious memory and a T-shirt with the theme of "looking back in 30 years". Hao Jiang presented his published book "Digitalization: intelligence coming out of the inside " to the college.
Thirty years ago, they studied at Nankai University in their young shining days. And thirty years later, they reunited at College of Electronic Information and Optical Engineering, never forgetting their original aspiration. Led by Jianjun Zhang, the alumni visited the laboratories of the Department of Electronic Science and Technology and Institute of Modern Optics, and the alumni praised the great changes of their Alma Mater in recent years. They were excited by the steady development and achievements of the college.
The College of Electronic Information and Optical Engineering attaches great importance to the work of alumni, keeps close contact with alumni, and integrates alumni resources.
