Department of Human Resource Management at Nankai University was founded in 1999, and was one of the first established specialties in China when it stared to enrolled the first group of undergraduates.
The Department of Human Resource Management enrolls undergraduates and postgraduates majored in Human Resource Management. The mission of Human Resource Management is to serve organizations; private or public, by providing them with professional graduates majored in Human Resource Development & Management, Employment Relationship, and Organizational Behavior. The department pays close attention to developing students' ability of managing human resources, with a broader and substantial business view, and attaches importance to scientific, practical and comprehensive knowledge

Faculties in the Department has published more than 20 academic books and over 100 academic journal articles, and it has undertaken over 10 research projects at the national, the provincial and the ministry level.
